The CSV Editor is a simple tool made by Open Innovations. The aim is to create a basic CSV editor that uses as little bandwidth as possible. As such, it won't have all the bells and whistles of more fully-fledged CSV editors (GRIST, Google Sheets, Excel etc). But that also means it should load incredibly quickly regardless of your connection.
Because we actually care about privacy, the CSV editor works entirely in the browser. None of the data from your CSV file leaves your device. We don't host your data - that's up to you.
We have our own privacy-first analytics that collects as little as possible. It only lets us know that a page was viewed, when, and a rough idea of your screen size (not the exact size, to protect your privacy). It doesn't set cookies.
