There are some cases where more is not better. In those cases we have flipped the ranking so that a lower relative value would receive more stars. For example, a child poverty rate of 0% would be ★★★★★.

We try to update datasets when there is a new release. If you know of a more recent update to a dataset, please let us know.

Any dates given in the attribution are the date of the most recent data, which can lag the release date of the dataset.
